A registered qualification which is not a full qualification.

Partial qualifications may be developed in the system of general and vocational education and higher educations as well as outside them.

In case of a partial qualification a set of required learning outcomes is as a rule narrower than that for a full qualification.

 

Partial qualifications are among others:

• a vocational certificate,

• a certificate of completing upper secondary school,

• a certificate of completing of vocational school,

• a certificate of completing upper secondary vocational school,

• a certificate of completing post-graduate non-degree studies.

 

Partial qualifications shall always be assigned a PQF/EQF level.
