Quality of a qualification signifies its usability for individuals who have attained it or strive to attain it as well as for the social environment in which it is functioning

The quality of a qualification awarded to a concrete individual depends on whether

• it has been well designed, ie if it adequately responds to the needs, and if has been well described (well defined),

• validation of competences required for a given qualification was of good quality (credible).

The quality of the awarded qualifications also results from the quality of the process of teaching/learning.
